Ingredients
- 4 wheat tortillas
- 300 g cooked shredded chicken breast (or ground meat)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 200 ml tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 100 g grated cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or coriander for garnish
How to Prepare Enchiladas?
Enchiladas are a rich and flavorful dish, made with tortillas filled and baked with sauce and melted cheese. The balance between seasoned meat and tomato sauce creates an intense and comforting flavor. Perfect for a shared dinner full of taste. Enjoy your meal.
1. In a pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the onion until golden.
2. Add the bell pepper and cook for a few minutes.
3. Add the shredded chicken (or meat) and season with paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
4. Pour in half of the tomato sauce and mix well.
5. Fill each tortilla with the mixture and roll it up.
6. Place the tortillas in a baking dish.
7. Cover with the remaining tomato sauce and sprinkle with grated cheese.
8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15–20 minutes.
9. Remove from the oven, garnish with parsley or coriander, and serve hot.
